Hi! I’m having a problem with my headphones connected via a 2.4 dongle. The problem is that I’m getting millisecond pauses in the sound, like stuttering. I’m using Pipewire with wireplumber. I’ve tried setting the audio\_rate in the config to 48 kHz, etc., and disabling power saving for USB. Nothing helps. How can I monitor errors or what should I do? Maybe the buffer size is not big enough.

Once the headphones are paired, there should be several options for the audio profile to use in the audio settings, either High Fidelity Playback or Headset Head Unit, both with different codecs to choose from.

I don’t have any issues with High Fidelity Playback & the AAC codec. The Headset profiles (HSP CVSD as well as the mSBC codec) may not work that well, acording to [this](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire#No_sound_after_connecting_to_Bluetooth_device).

Anyway, I’ld check which profile / codec the headphones default to and test if the issue persist with a different codec (e.g. SBC, SBC-XQ or AAC).

Well, for KDE Plasma you could access these settings via the audio volume widget of the system tray. There should be a button with three vertical dots that would show additional options for the selected audio device. Alternatively could access this via the System Settings → Audio. There you should find a drop down menu for the profiles.

Came here to report the same issue. Same headphones, but different distro (Opensuse Tumbleweed), I also tried it on Linux Mint with the same result so it is a general kernel issue with the dongle.
