MediaTek MT7922 Bluetooth not recognized

I’m seeing 0489:e0e2 Foxconn / Hon Hai Wireless_Device which should have had support for a while now, but it still doesn’t work on 6.6.1. I am out of ideas.

On Ubuntu 23.04.3. everything works flawlessly. Yet I don’t understand what I need to change on arch

can someone provide me with some help? The onboard bluetooth works fine in Ubuntu so there should be a way of getting it working here as well

Try looking for the differences between arch and ubuntu. What does the default config look like for bluetooth in ubuntu. Maybe check the version of bluetooth and kernel offered by ubuntu compared to arch. Maybe it is one of those things that stopped working after a certain update and ubuntu is still using an older version.

With one of the latest kernel updates it finally started working

They must have included this chip now.
