# MATE install crashes

I was able to install the offline system.

When I try to install MATE, I get a crash and the installation aborts.

Is there a problem with the repo or a mirror?

Is it the same error some of us are getting here:

So, I did a offline installation, installed pacman then pamac, and was able to install MATE from the repos.

we do work on that BUG but no solution at the moment, read the main thread to get informed:
