I can’t seem to get to the login screen no matter what I do once I log in, meaning I can’t lock my screen on standby
The only thing I can think of that I’ve installed that could cause this is the XFCE power manager
Not a LXDE user here but perhaps this is something you need to look into?

Couldn’t get light-locker to work, solved by using slock and removing light-locker
