Long boot at first startup due to KWin core dump

On an initial boot of my PC it hangs at the KDE splash screen for a while before booting into the desktop. journalctl -b0 --priority=2 shows a core dump of kwin_x11 https://0x0.st/HXnb.txt

This doesn’t appear to happen on subsequent reboots and has been happening since some KDE updates a couple of days ago to kwin_x11 5.27.4 I believe.

inxi -Fxxc0z output here https://0x0.st/HXnq.txt

dmesg also gives me a
[drm:drm_new_set_master] *ERROR* [nvidia-drm] [GPU ID 0x00000900] Failed to grab modeset ownership not sure if that’s related.

Please let me know if I can provide more information.

have you try with
“iommu=pt” option on boot kernel ?
