After testing a new DE i will play a little, I think with other color you will not see anymore arch style logo.

@anon43355446 your concept definitely had it’s role as an inspiration for the current logo. Wild days those were. Definitely thank you for your contribution.

When I’m back from the lakes, I’m going to install EOS on my testing laptop. This picture will be placed in the center of the screen.

Well, Artix Linux uses a logo derived from the Arch logo:

And so does Arco Linux:

And ArchBang:

And countless others…

So I see no reason why the Arch-inspired sail logo would be an issue. On the other hand, I’m certain you gave this much more thought than I did, so I’ll trust you that it is potentially an issue, and it’s always better to be safe than sorry. :slight_smile:

@SGS that is gorgeous! :heart_eyes:

The best Arch-based graphics I’ve ever seen is the ArchLabs logo. It derives from both Arch and BunsenLabs, and the result is awesome.

Yes, it is fantastic. You instantly know what it is about, and it looks cool.

Arco had to change the name and logo in the first place, because of this. It was called Archmerge and they had a logo that looked like the Arch logo, we’ve decided back then to play it safe.

Here is a funny one, which I almost forgot:

@Bryanpwo, yes, it is wise to play it safe, completely understandable.

Funny, that doesn’t work on my wife. :wink:

Komisch, bei meiner Frau funktioniert das nicht. :wink:

Just a joke, of course, it works on everything I touch.

Thank you. I love our logo, all I can take credit for is the design. The final product is from someone far more talented than myself.
