LightDM GTK + Greeter can't change wallpaper

Hi Guys,

Today I tried to change LightDM wallpaper through LightDM GTK + Greeter settings but I wasn’t successful. I got a blackscreen even properly selecting lightdm wallpaper. I’m using EndeavourOS with i3wm plus endeavour standard configuration files.

is there any way to solve this problem?
I had no problems changing desktop background while using nitrogen.

lightdm needs wallpapers from a directory it can reads from… as it is not running in user-level…
like /usr/share/backgrounds

I’ve changed now https://clbin.com/s0uGS

I think you may find that wallpaper for lightdm has be in /usr/share/pixmaps/. I don’t know why.

not that… but they must be readable by lightm what is not the case for users home directory… so walls should be somewhere under /usr/share
