Librewolf Rebuild Issue

I just update the system and saw that librewolf-bin needed rebuilt. So I double checked.

❯ checkrebuild
foreign	librewolf-bin

I then ran yay -S librewolf-bin --rebuild and got the following after successful rebuild…

:: Running post-transaction hooks...
(1/4) Arming ConditionNeedsUpdate...
(2/4) Updating icon theme caches...
(3/4) Checking which packages need to be rebuilt
foreign	librewolf-bin
(4/4) Updating the desktop file MIME type cache...

I seem to be in a rebuild loop. Anyone have ann idea as to why this might be happening?

I am not sure why rebuild-detector is flagging that but rebuilding a *-bin package seems pointless to begin with.

Run checkrebuild -v and share the output.

EDIT: Nevermind, I checked. That is fine you can ignore it.

❯ checkrebuild -v
foreign	librewolf-bin

ldd /usr/lib/librewolf/gmp-clearkey/0.1/libclearkey.so

	libmozsqlite3.so => not found

:thinking:

There is nothing you can do about that. It will probably stop showing up next time it is updated.

In general, there is nothing you can do when rebuild-detector flags a binary package.
