Libreoffice

Every time I try to open a Libreoffice file it opens minimized on the top left corner of me desktop.
How can I fix this?
I run EOS Artemis nova 22.9 Kde

It is likely because you have closed a minimzed file - causing the app to think it should be minimized - drag it on the lower right corner - then close the file - next time the window will remember the new coordinates.

Thank for your quick response. I found another solution, right click>more>resize and then close and it opens maximized.

Looks like similar to this issue, perhaps only on KDE? Maybe worth a bug report.

This is a known issue that occurs only with LibreOffice 7.4.1.* and only with Qt-based DEs (Plasma, LXQt), also different for each part program (writer, calc etc.).

In 7.4.2.1 (i.e. rc1) it is fixed.

As a workaround: You close each part program not maximized, but as a window.

Looking forward to the 7.4.2.* release!
