For those like me wanting to make use of the latest software, just alerting you if you are using the Plasma desktop and encountering this, as it took a while for me to discover that it had been reported in The Document Foundation Bugzilla site – see Bug 144499
LibreOffice Fresh version: 7.2.1.2 is affected, but it seems to be an issue only on Plasma.
I reverted back to the STILL version – currently: 7.1.6.2.0, and LO is working as it should again.
