Bottled in Bond, but still a bit young for my palate. Nonetheless, a pretty bottle and a nice, caramel nose. Pleasant enough finish to recommend.
My Halloween trick-or-treat for myself… Cheers!

I picked up my rather large order of Foulmouthed Brewing’s excellent All Together Meow today (see above), and with all the excitement of the US election unfolding , I decided to do a little drinking.
Here are the empties so far; there will be a couple more before the night is over, oh yes there will.
Nothing’s gonna harsh my mellow today. No sir, not today.
I can’t let @anon3337769 drink alone…
This is a really good beer! This is (for me) a perfect level of hoppiness, great fruit flavor and a very clean, smooth finish. Not to mention it’s 8% abv, so it catches up with you after a few of them. I got it as a 4 pack of 16oz cans from the brewery, which is certainly worth the trip if you are in the area (Worcester, MA).
Good old hillbilly hootch. It’s shockingly delicious.
This is black berry moonshine from the hills of West Virginia. Given to me in a mason jar by a truck driver whose family tree does not fork.
If I go blind, I’m donating my thinkpad to endeavor research. Cheers**
I can see - and hear - the TV advert already…
Otherwise known as “blackberry wine”.
I’m always amused by how much Americans are proud of things that have already been done for centuries elsewhere in the world (like brewing “craft beer”… ). Try some West Country scrumpy cider from a jug in some bloke’s shed - then they’ll know what “home brewing” all about.
I’m not beneath drinking something brewed in a shed. Send it over or send the invite and I will gladly raise a glass or jar, or. . . Whatever old cup like thing you drink old things out of over there across the pond.
You are very confused mate. Moonshine= Black berry wine
If this is indeed moonshine, it has no relation to wine at all. Moonshine is distilled.
Although, growing up in an area where moonshine was somewhat common, the really old 'shiners would sometimes call it “corn wine” - with an implied wink and nudge.

This is absolutely distilled. And while there’s no label, I was told it’s approx 100 proof. We drink a lot and I have to say, I would tend to agree with that.
Anyway it’s delicious. @BONK, I preemptively apologize for any future moderation required. It’s just the booze!
Ooops, I forgot to actually post the thing…
Very similar to a porter I used to brew myself…
(I sometimes wonder whether the recipes I posted online were picked up by companies… I’ve had a few beers which are very similar to my recipe tasting notes… Cascade hops in a porter? Pale ale with notes of lime? )
I want some of that!
Once again I have gone out on a limb and purchased…
…
…
Guinness.
Really don’t ever have to suffer that way…
Free Friday.
I just got an offer from my old aparment I was selling. I decided to accept it. Time to celebrate a bit. That tv-screen on the background shows my Endeavour setup, btw…
Out with some of my fellow Veterans here in Thailand today. Raised a pint of cider in honor of “absent companions” for Remberance Day.
I love the name - Black Rat cider.
From Moles Brewery.
I’ll have to see if I can find that here.
