Last visit

There are now two ‘last visit’ lines in EnOS forum. I think @ricklinux was referring to the “last visit” line in the Topics listing as @dalto showed, and not the new “last visit” that is inside a topic (thread)

Edit: This line is also in other places too? So I’m not getting it. It’s like a game. :grin:

It’s in the threads we talk about.

I am not sure, but this is how I think this ‘last visit’ works.
You have to meet certain criteria for this to move.
1 You have to completely log out
2 Then a specified amount of time has to occur between visits logins.
3 The date of the last and new login may be involved?

It does appear to be somewhat random.

It doesn’t move if i reload the page. It doesn’t move if i log in or out! So there’s more to it then?

Edit: I can’t take it anymore!

Works every time for me. I just need to leave the thread and then wait for someone to write something new. Then it moves to where I last read.

@ricklinux
Patient: There’s a temporary last visit line which never disappear, i can’t take it anymore! :scream:
Doctor: Is this line here with us in the room now?

So i went to a page where there was a last visit line. I posted something at the bottom of the page after the last post and then it disappeared. :thinking:

Edit: I go back to the page and no line is there? :hole: :walking_man:

Schrodinger was here :male_detective:

Multiverse is real!!! :scream:

If you’re using Firefox, place these lines in your userContent.css file:

@-moz-document domain(forum.endeavouros.com) {
    .topic-post-visited-line { display:none !important; }
}

:laughing:

To match your avatar, place these lines in your userContent.css file:

@-moz-document domain(forum.endeavouros.com) {
    .topic-post-visited-line { border-bottom-color: #77b255 !important; }
    .topic-post-visited-message { color: #77b255 !important; }
}

If it doesn’t exist already, create the chrome directory inside your Firefox profile directory. Then create the userContent.css file withing the chrome directory.

In order for Firefox to read userContent.css, you need to set this property in about:config to true:

toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets

After any edits to userContent.css, you need to restart Firefox.

I know css overrides, but it’s not the same as asking to remove it completely…

Do you think that just display: none !important; is enough to get rid of that haunted feeling that line is still there…watching, insulting me?! :scream:

That line keeps me up at night, because I KNOW IT’S STILL THERE!!! :sob:
