As a newbe to this how do I change the settings (are they in .config?)
I had similar problem that started a few days ago, following this advice (https://archlinux.org/news/undone-replacement-of-pipewire-media-session-with-wireplumber/) and replacing wireplumber with pipewire-media-session solved it for me.

I really did not think I would be able to sort out this problem and I was moving closer and closer to reinstalling.
I saw your reply, tried and BOOM videos now play perfectly in Firefox.
