Good Morning and happy new year to everyone,
I have recently moved from VirtualBox to virt-manager and KVM. All is working perfectly for my six VM’s.
I now wish to add each VM to a Bash Script for launching so that I can add the individual VM’s to the menu. I want to reduce the number of clicks to launch a VM.
Virsh works perfectly, but I cannot get it to automatically launch the graphic console in virt-manager. I can access the VM through virt-viewer easily…but if I watch a video in the VM for example - I get artifacts in virt-viewer that I do not get in virt-manager.
Is there a mechanism (I don’t see it in the man pages) to tell virt-manager to launch a VM AND open it in the graphical console?
Help and Tips appreciated.
And if it can’t be done, then any tips to clean up screen artifacts with virt-viewer?
If I am going about this all wrong - then please banish my ignorance…
Thank you!
Dave
