Known networks not showing or connecting after update

My first post here, I’m using endeavoursince a while now, but I had a problem this morning after the update.

The wifi networks I was connected didn’t show anymore on the network manager (running on Xfce).

I try reinstalling the kernel and headers but it didn’t solve the problem.
Rebooting didn’t work too.

When I connected my notebook via ethernet, the wifi auto-connect correctly again.

The temporary solution I’ve found is to install linux-lts et linux-lts-headers and the wifi network is working fine again.

My wifi card is a RTL8822CE.

The updates I installed this morning:

[2022-06-06T15:33:33+0200] [ALPM] upgraded dialog (1:1.3_20220414-1 -> 1:1.3_20220526-1)

I hope it will help others that are in the same case.

Edit: Downgrading hwdata & iwd didn’t solve the problem.

Obviously, I should have written the kernel I was using:

  • linux 5.18.1.arch1-1
  • linux-headers 5.18.1.arch1-1

After downgrading ell, upgrading again hwdata and iwd, the network is working again.

I have tried upgrading ell, and the problem seems to have disappear without doing something else.
