Keep system updated with everything "but"

This would be aur packages only, isn’t it?
So no holding back the kernel updates.

I am not sure what you are referring to but if it is my comment about yay, then no, it is for both repo and AUR packages. Unless that is an option I have enabled in yay, which is totally possible.

Hmm…it may only happen if you have --combinedupgrade enabled. But everyone should have that enabled because it is awesome. :cowboy_hat_face:

Hmm, I only get this option after the normal packages have been updated and the aur updates are listed…:thinking:

Try using the option --combinedupgrade.

Then you will get a nicely color coded menu that show you exactly what is changing.

yay -Y --combinedupgrade --save

I don’t think yay enables this by default, so I went ahead just now and ran the command above to make it my default as per your suggestion. The only trouble is, I’m fully up to date, so it looks like I’ll have to wait for a few updates to be pushed before I can really test it out. The colors are what got me sold :purple_heart:
