KDE Plasma gets stuck sometimes, the mouse doesn’t move, no key works, the only way to get back is to reboot. This might happen once throughout the day. I usually have 9-10 tabs open in a web browser (Ms Edge or Opera), Dolphin, GIMP at least for 8 hours.
This is my laptop,

Not a solution to your problem, but some good advice:
The Linux kernel authors have provided a very nice feature of issuing low-level commands to the kernel directly, regardless of the state the system is in. This is called the “Magic SysRq Key”, because these commands are issued by pressing the SysRq key on the keyboard (if you can’t find it, typically, it shares the same physical key as the Print Screen key, but on some laptops it can be elsewhere).
A common use is to reboot when the computer freezes and becomes unresponsive due to some software…
Instead of hard resetting, use the magic SysRq key.
Regarding your problem with Plasma, it could be anything. Maybe a graphics driver?

Today, KDE Plasma got stuck twice. Nothing helped other than rebooting. Anyone has any idea?
