Well they’re coming fast and furious in the last year
This is good.
I always though one of the keys of open source software is to release often.

But posted article aside, where on the spectrum do you fall? ![]()
Also sounds like something Scooby Doo would say, Rero. ![]()

On my way! ![]()
Edit: Too soon. Yet available ![]()

Somewhere in the middle - right between RE and RO ![]()
Or WTH (Wait Then Hurry). ![]()
OMG! I almost missed it. ![]()
Updated and rebooted, all good here! What are the odds that PLM will work for me now… it’s been a long day, so not sure if I’m in the mood to fix if still borked for me… booting with SDDM atm
The schedule is made that way on purpose. They use Fibonacci sequence as a release intervals. 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8… 0 as the release date of the .0 version and then the other numbers is the number of weeks between releases. I have updated as well.
Why use Fibaonacci sequence to decide the release cadence? It is used in estimation yes, but for releases?
I have tons of issue with 6.6.1
Either the plasma-login-manager, after accepting my usermane and pass, will make the screen brighter and then the screen goes black
Or, if I revert to using SDDM, after accepting my usermane and pass, plasmashell will crash and back to SDDM.
Frustrating.
The good thing, I was able to restore my OS from a timeshift snap
Don’t know if it’ll help you, but plasmaloginmanager came in late (just now) for me..separate from the main kde update.
I haven’ t rebooted yet..will update this after I do in a couple minutes.
Edit: All seems well here (at least it booted fine, etc).
