I see the appearance button (3rd down on the left) in the image @MichelN posted.
Ah! I donāt see his image
Must be my blocker blocking me.
I have to askā¦ This thread (and forum) is loaded with images. Why would you block them???
There must be some setting that does that generally for other sites as well. Not everything gets blocked. I have to look at it to see what it is.
@UncleSpellbinder do you know of some other widget like Panel Colorizer that could add transparency to other components of the panel, like application launcher, calendarā¦?
I did not post any image
They must have thought that mine was yours
Exactly. Sorry, @MichelN
@MichelN, you can rename āProfile1ā or create another if you feel like. Regardless, hereās how itās doneā¦
Thanks! Will check it out later
Edit: Thanks, working fine now.
You can get a nice transparency and blur effect on all your windows by building Better Blur/Force Blur and then using window rules or a theme to make your windows transparent.
The customizations are endless in KDE i see.
Just remember to temper customization with stability. The first things broken in an upgrade path are the third party addons and the first thing you should disable if you encounter issues down the road. This also includes things distributed by the KDE Store such as widgets and themes.
That looks interesting, thank you for posting!
Yeah. The Get New Things screens even warn you about it after the incident where a guy installed a global theme with a bug and it erased his home directory.
So far the customization i do are from within the os itself. Thanks for the tip though.
