So, when I turn my computer on I get the default KDE login screen with a nice background. However, when the computer falls asleep (I think that’s the right term) and I move the mouse, I get the same login screen, but with a black background. Anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it.
Yes, that’s the intended behavior in KDE. There is a login screen with a background, and a Screen Locking background. You can set them separately:
For the wake screen, go to Settings/ Workspace Behavior/ Screen Locking/ Appearance (Tab). Choose and apply your preferred background.
Hope this helps!
Barry
Ya know, thank you so much, I couldn’t figure out what the name of the screen locking background was.
