With dolphin-plugins installed there should be an option to mount ISO and image files.
But also you can see it is enabled in settings it doe snot show up on the context menu.
I tried downgrading dolphin-plugins package without any change.
and does context menu itself showing the option to mount ISO/Image (right click menu on ISO file)?
There the issue shows off as it does not show up there… i have others at telegram having the same already…
I’m also having the problem with the mount iso context menu item not appearing. I fired up kde neon stable in a virtual machine and fully updated it. It has the same version of dolphin as arch and it still works there, so maybe a packaging issue?
Unrelated: a different issue I found is that if you use the search bar to search for a plugin in the context menu tab while having the git plugin active. Disabling any plugin after using the search bar to find it will also disable the git plugin for some reason.
Edit: Reported a bug in the case of the disabling git plugin
I didn’t have dolphin-plugins installed already, so installed it and tried to see if Mount ISO appeared in the context menu for an ISO - no joy. Logged and back in again, and that made no difference.
I commented earlier that it works inside of a fresh kde neon vm as well. The versions of the kde stack should be the same between the two. My guess was a packaging issue or a missing package, so I wonder if you have anything extra installed.
I also tried deleting the dolphinrc config file just in case it was a corrupted config issue.
Yeah, I have a lot of extra stuff installed, that could be the case. Currently on Windows, but if I get bored enough will try to install clean EnOS in a VM and try to debug it myself.
I would suggest using strace/ltrace if you want to do it yourself.
