IDK, got desperate so I ran
sudo locale-gen en_TT.UTF-8 en_BM.UTF-8
Generating locales...
ar_TN.UTF-8... done
ar_TN.ISO-8859-6... done
en_US.UTF-8... done

en_US.UTF-8... done
Generation complete.
but I got this message on Steam pv-locale-gen: Warning: en_BM.UTF-8 was generated but does not appear to work!

this is not from the target OS something steam uses may proton?

like I said, my brother uses the exact same OS and distro, EndeavourOS on nearly the same hardware, however he has not the problem and I have, the only significant difference is that I customized many thing and he did not
i bet something in steam that you setup is causing this not OS ..
I will post this problem in the Steam community but FYI while this problem affects only Steam and the Steam games, Gamemode is also affected in all platforms like HGL
i bet on steam they could know better what would causing this ..
