Issue with a website

My roommate recently switched to Consumer Cellular for his phone service and neither in Vivaldi, Chrome nor Firefox can he get to the site. He’s not having any problem with any other site, so it seems to be an issue with Consumer’s site. I’ve tested their site on my system and I get the same. Yesterday for the first time in weeks he went into Windows and from Chrome there he had no issue getting to the site. I just tried again in Chrome in his Manjaro using the same User Agent Switcher I use in Vivaldi and the same issue of not being able to get to Consumer’s site. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try to see if we can resolve the issue? I want to wipe both 10 and Manjaro and install EOS for him, but I’d like tp fix the issue with that site first. Thanks

I realize this doesnt help, but I’m using EndeavourOS and Firefox and I cannot replicate the error. I use Consumer Cellular for phone service as well. Maybe it was a temporary thing? Its working fine today at least.

Works fine for me, using Chrome, Chromium, or Firefox. Vanilla Arch, up-to-date. :man_shrugging:

What errors do get get? What’s that nslookup say about the domain name?

I have no problem getting to the website in Firefox or Chromium. I can look up the site and i can get the ip address but unable to ping the website or IP as it doesn’t allow any incoming connection.

No problem getting to the site here on Firefox. Could it be an overly aggressive browser or add-on filter setting (e.g., privacy/security settings high; uBlock or other extension settings not letting traffic through)?

Edit: Or a VPN location-based issue?

No I don’t believe so, cause I just tried Firefox on my system and same thing. Firefox on my system has not been changed by me cause I don’t use it. As for system security nothing there to block it.

What are your settings on Firefox set to? Preferences, privacy & security. Mine are set on Standard.

Like I said I have not changed a thing in Firefox. Just checked and it’s set to standard.

There is something odd with that site atm. I can bring it up but can’t ping it.

I have a feeling if I extended the timeout it may load. This is about the only thing I haven’t done here.

I can’t ping it either! Both the ip or the website. I think they are blocked for security purposes?

So it is looking like their end, then?

It looks like something along the way. Look at hop 7…

OK thank you EVERYONE for the help and input. At this point looks like it is the site just that it’s reacting different for different people. Again thanks a lot, the help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I may have been uninformative, of course I wanted you to nslookup endeavoursos.com not the ISP.

No problem here, with waterfox … adblock, decentraleyes, ublock, https everywhere, clearurls, + umatrix that lets things through now unless manually turn stuff off. Also, ExpressVPN.
