Is there a way to use the password less often?

Default security policy is a personal preference and user/system related.
Arch (and other vendors) provide these default rules to protect users.
If you don’t like it, you can change it to your personal preference, assuming responsibility.

Complaining about upstream defaults does not make much sense, since they are built with a general/wide audience in mind, not for one user. I suppose this is normal. Don’t you?

That’s exactly what I’m trying to do and why I started this thread.

Although I don’t think I did complain the answer to your question is “no”.
Without complaining/criticizing there would be no progression. You may think that Linux is perfect as it is. I don’t. I’m not a fanboy. If I don’t like anything I say so!

So, you think that a Linux OS provider should not provide a strict default security policy to the users.
OK.
Anyone is entitled to an opinion. That’s fine with me. :+1:

I didn’t say that. Did you already forget what you asked?
You seem to be one of those ppl who don’t want to really understand what others write, but instead interpret it like YOU want to understand it.

I said, you said, he said…

Please, do try to understand what I want to say, as I am a Greek native speaker, not English.
I can explain better in Greek, if you prefer.
There is nothing more I can say on this issue, which is already solved.
Have a nice day!
