Is it ok to uninstall eos-settings-plasma completely?
Or rather, does uninstalling it break anything else?
I love EndeavourOS, but not so much the EOS theme, sorry. Neither dark, nor purple …
The way you know if it breaks anything else is by running pacman -Qi pkgname or by attempting to uninstall said package, as Pacman will warn you that it breaks a dependecy.
pacman -Qi eos-settings-plasma
Check where it says, “Required By” and/or “Optional For”.
If it shows a package you need, then don’t uninstall it. If it doesn’t show a package you need, then you are free to uninstall it with no worries.
You can check things this way with any package.
Lastly, it’s a theme and some additional settings.
You don’t need to remove it to use another theme or change the settings.
