I have tried to install it in a virtual machine. After installation restart it can’t boot. It hangs here.

Edit: had to switch to QXL, never happened before while testing systems.

You can see open issues in GitHub regarding ventoy

So nothing I can do unless i fork it like eos

I don’t think including this would increase the image size a lot.

Maybe this is related to not being able to auto resize screen resolution in the vm?

I think you should include vm support like the other distros, because I’m pretty sure that’s how most people try a new distro out first. Most people don’t really have extra hardware for trying distros out.

it’s most likely not either one.

it will have its place in the linux ecosystem as it fills a nice niche. good for grandma, servers, mass deploys, and productivity stations.

it won’t replace Linux as we’ve known it, but will live alongside it.

Well, yes, but since her name may also be influenced by Saturn or the Hindu deity I thought there’s a chance that there’s maybe a connection to the Witcher universe.

That’s entirely up to you. The live ISO in my opinion should be set up to work on vm.
