Installing a PCKGEBUILD

so for some reason it’s not working.

I downloaded the relevant scid_vs_pc tar.gz file on my desk but I do not know which commands to use to install it

You could download the PKGBUILD file from here:

You may need to rename file scid*.gz to scid*.tgz.

Then run command to create a package:

    makepkg -cf

and if that goes without problems, then

    sudo pacman -U scid*.xz

I succeeded the download from sourceforge by using a VPN. It’s was not an AUR problem but a “political” one…
