Yes, and in old days IDE- cables were much better. One end of SATA cable and one connector of SATA hard disk went in peaces. Seagate hard disk is only 2-3 months old.
Some of them have clips that hold them in place also you have to depress to remove? Some don’t they just push on.
I have both types of cables. Motherboard connectors are very near the hard disks. Desktop HP Pavillion p7-1051sc model. Narrow place for hands and cables. Need nearly gynecologist hands and fingers.
