Installation Failed Package Manager error

I’m getting this issue i tried with new iso and it didn’t fix it my network is working fine
(Installation Failed

Package Manager error

Details:

The package manager could not make changes to the installed system. The command

pacman
returned error code 1.)

Thanks

If you are asking offline installation is working probably one of the packages messed up

That’s a possibility. We wouldn’t know without having a look at the install log from the live session.

Calamares makes a log file by default and you can retrieve it by copy-paste the following in the terminal:

xed /home/liveuser/endeavour-install.log

Or Pastebin it and show the URL in the forum:

cat /home/liveuser/endeavour-install.log | eos-sendlogs

This will upload the log to ix.io and create a short URL to the log file.

And there is also a GUI to provide logs in many different ways on EndeavourOS: eos-log-tool

Sure I’ll run the installation again and send it in a sec

Anyone ?

It looks like you are trying to install two different packages versions of mutter?

Hi i didn’t not and I found the problem it doesn’t let me install gnome but I really need gnome so maybe you have an idea how to fix?

Can share the the pacman command you ran when trying to install Gnome?

I think I found the problem I’m trying to install gnome and budgie but gnome different v of mutter so it’s getting confused I’ll try to install just gnome and I’ll see

If Gnome requires a different mutter version that will cause a conflict if you already have Budgie installed.

I understood that
