Install kernel 5.4 - Is it safe?

Hello community! I want kernel 5.4 because it works perfectly with my old laptop. Unfortunately I can’t build directly from the sources, but I found this place: https://gitlab.com/m2x.dev/kernel-lts/repository and I wonder if I can add this repository and keys without any worries

I have 5.15, but want 5.4 which is still supported until 2025 it seems to me. It’s just a little strange that the official repositories don’t have it anymore

That’s the Arch way, stable latest of all, and latest LTS.

So the aur remains. But the guardian seems to care about maintaining. Thanks for answering

That repo and the associated AUR packages are managed by a person I would consider trustworthy.

However, they are currently away and so those packages are a couple of months out of date.

Well the last update was in November. Considering Christmas, we can understand it

I have 5.4 from that repository installed on my Lenovo Z510. When things in the current kernel and LTS kernel go belly up, 5.4 is my go to version.
