I have been trying for 2 hours to get EnOS to install. At first, I tried with a USB. I have the very weakest little baby newbie knowledge on how to partition and had to look at reddit and google for everything, which helped but I dont know if im doing it right. I thought, “Maybe its just the USB”, so i tried to install on an SD card. The SD card had data on it, i formatted it, the whole time it was bugging out and only KDE Partition Manager could see it. 40 minutes later and i gave up on it. I then thought. “Finally, maybe i will just try an actual SDD.” Nope. Yet again, failed. I dont even know why its failing and i dont know how to see why either? I finally got the SD to work, and read the message. “Failed to create partition”. Thats literally it. What am i supposed to do???
Perhaps a silly question but… Are you burning an ISO image as a bootable drive (USB, SD card, whatever)? Using something like balena etcher or other utility?
Any partitioning needed or desired is done by the EOS installation routine. To clarify, is that where your partitioning is failing?
Are you referring to writing the ISO to a USB or the actual install of Endeavour?
I read this as you are trying to partition the SD or USB to write the ISO to…..

That depends on what result you want to achieve. It is unclear what you are attempting to do. Are you trying to install EOS onto a removable drive, like a USB flashdrive or SD card? At some point in your post, that is what it sounds like. Are you having trouble writing the ISO image file to a USB or SD card? Are you booting off the live ISO and attempting to install on an internal drive? What is the hardware? Are you trying to multi-boot with another operating system on the same system? There are just too many questions to answer before anyone can begin to provide a diagnosis and/or instructions.
