I’ve had an issue for a couple weeks now where, upon boot login (not lock logins) my screen is black until i press enter, then I get my normal lock screen and can log in.
I have a suspicion I screwed up a config, I was trying to set plasma to auto-login so it would start processes needed to remote in, but also present the lock screen immediately so my system didn’t provide access on boot.
I undid all the kde config files I remembered changing (I left them all open in editor tabs) but I have a feeling I missed one, or more likely missed a setting settings menu change. Any ideas?
The weird part, I undid all the settings and my initial boot lock screen behaved as expected for a few weeks before I started getting the black screen i have to ‘return’ through before logging in.
Sorry I do not have much time to troubleshoot rn, so I’m coming here for solutions faster than I could get them on my own. Thanks for the help!
