Tried installing EOS but it doesn’t work on my laptop unless I switch off the iGPU in display mode in the BIOS. Does anyone know why? The USB works.

OK here, just reinstalled on a Legion 5 / Ryzen7 / RTX3070, you did boot the iso with the newer nVidia option on the boot menu?
Yeah and on the iso it worked fine
Sometimes this requires removing the cmos battery and draining the power with the computer unplugged by holding down the power button for up to 1 minute. It’s easy on a desktop but not so much on some laptops. Then putting the cmos battery back in and plugging it in and boot up and hopefully it will recognize the igpu.
I followed your instructions, but EOS still does not recognize the iGPU. I have installed Fedora Linux, and the iGPU works. I will stick with it, though I appreciate the input.
It may be that it requires some other parameter. These are newer CPU with iGPU. I 'm sure there are some using it on EOS.
