how come I have qogir installed but the option is missing from the icons list?
(it is there on my other, more recent SSD install)
Did you look to see if they are in the /usr/share/icons directory?

that’s it cheers, copied from the other SSD and all is good

Awesome. Glad you fixed it. Usually, theme/icon packages just put the themes or icons in /usr/share/icons or /usr/share/themes folders. If you can remove the theme from the directory, and it still shows you have the package installed.
