I just moved from Manajro to Endeavouros and love it.
Just noticed that I had to manually install pamixer manually. Is there a reason it is not enabled by default?

EndeavourOS tries to stay as close to arch as possible. Allowing the user the freedom of choice as to what packages they want to use.
we simply have pavucontrol in setup so no “need” for pamixer beein installed, and as @BONK mentioned we keepin it simple
I fully support these principles, but the standard config that ships with the i3 version calls pamixer.

Similar issue with xbacklight in lines 191-192. It is called, but not installed by default.
