I just switch from a KDE to a brand new Gnome

am I mistaken or is the gnome version missing many apps that are usually already installed in other distributions?

EnOS’ installs a minimal set of applications/packages.

Anything else can be installed by the users.

Have a look here for having some idea for what to look for and where to find them in the official Arch’s repo: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GNOME#Installation

EOS generally ships with a very lightweight selection of applications.

We try to provide a minimal set of applications needed to make the system usable and leave the rest to the individuals own choices.

If you’ve been using KDE for a while, or a long time, many apps you’re used to are probably specific to KDE and wouldn’t be included in a Gnome DE install.

What specific apps are you referring to?
