I just offline installed EndeavourOS, but in some areas the text is broken and glitchy, and my home folders are on my desktop for some reason

I would try log out than on login screen change from wayland to x11 and see if this helps

For home folders, I would check the ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs file - it might be possible that the directories’ path changed from $HOME/yyy to $HOME/Desktop/yyy.
If that’s the case, change to the format I provided, log out and log back in.
