I can no longer open steam after recent update

i can’t downgrade as i don’t have older versions and ignoring libgudev in the conf settings didn’t fix it.

It did this to me earlier, I was able to fix it by a simple reboot, maybe this will work for you if you haven’t already tried. Otherwise there are a quite a few posts on the forum about steam not working for different people, maybe one of those threads will point you in the right direction.
