I’ve been running `fastfetch` on `konsole` (Plasma) and I have entered a path in `fastfetch` that shows me a small logo. This does not work with `Alacritty`.

As you can see, `Alacritty` only displays a `PNG` text line and not the logo.
How do I have to setup my `alacritty.toml` to make the logo visible?

Does Alacritty support showing images?

Yes, with `ytfzf` it shows thumbnails too. The first thing I thought was that wayland doesn’t support it because of `ueberzug` in ytfzf, but I looked at the wiki again and got it to work.

Could you share your configs for Alacritty/ueberzug ? Last week, I was trying to get them to work but kinda given up since 😂

I was also on the point of throwing my computer against the wall 😅
Ueberzug dont work with Wayland. So i’ve been looking around on ytfzf wiki.
Under wayland this command works for me.

Provided you have installed the addons

I think this is the crux of the issue. Fastfetch only supports displaying images with certain protocols, like Kitty or Sixel for example. [https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch/wiki/Logo-options](https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch/wiki/Logo-options)

> Basically if I call \`fastfetc…h --logo ~/file/path\`, it doesn't output the logo in ASCII. I also created a config.jsonc to see if different image interpreters would help, as well as different file types (jpg, png) but none of them output anything. I'm trying to use my company logo as my custom image but for the purpose of this issue I'm using Meta's logo
