How to install the LTS kernel and then remove the non-lts kernel?

Hi,

I messed up when installing EOS and used the non-lts kernel when I should’ve used the lts. What are the proper steps to switch over without issue while also discarding the current one?

Thank you in advance

Install LTS, reboot into LTS, remove other kernel.

sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers
#Reboot
sudo pacman -R linux linux-headers

I would also add that it doesn’t hurt to keep both installed. Having a backup in the event there is a kernel issue is not a bad thing.
