How to display / show icon of Appimage application

hi, is there anyway to show the icon of Appimage application ,currently is blue gear icon

One way is to create a .desktop for it and identify the icon to be used in that file.

i have saw another distro that it can display the icon of the AppImage on the filebrowser, so i think maybe there is a plugin or something that we just install to filebrowser or desktop, so its recognize the AppImage file and show the icon ?

If you are using KDE Plasma 6.x, then go to KDE Menu Editor, search for your application and provide it with the image icon.
