How to disable middle click paste in Plasma 6

Hi,

I have already disable middle click paste from the settings page but for some reason it doesn’t work at all. I searched in the forum but I can’t find solutions for Plasma 6.

Some hint?

I don’t use KDE but what about mouse bindings? or is that where the above setting is from?

Sorry, what do you mean with mouse bindings? English is not my native language, but if you mean using an input-remapper or something like that: actually I can do that, but if I remap the middle click I lose another behavior like closing a tab, opening a new tab, etc. etc…

You mean on the desktop? Right click desktop → Desktop and Wallpaper → Mouse actions.

Nope, in text fields

System Settings → General Behavior → Middle click checkbox (don’t forget to logout)

I did, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. It still pasting text when I press the middle button

Don’t know, gave it a quick test here and it works as expected.

Maybe it’s also set in Desktop and Wallpaper → Mouse Actions
