How to change text highlight color

Just wanted to know how to change the color that appears when i highlight a text when holding the left mouse key on gnome, as there is no option available on tweaks nor settings.

It’s been a while since I played with Gnome, but I believe the text highlight color is part of the GTK theme – which is set as the “Applications” theme in gnome-tweaks.

gnome-look.org is a good spot to look for themes. It’s also worth noting many of the more popular themes there can be installed via the AUR.

What text editor are you using? Gedit? I think you can change that by changing the color scheme https://help.gnome.org/users/gedit/stable/gedit-change-color-scheme.html.en
