I probably update via
sudo pacman -syu and
yay subconsciously without even thinking about it, a good 5x a day. Heck, I do the same on my Debian Sid system as well with
apt update and
I can’t help it. This is the “bleeding edge” curse
I update which ever system I log into each time I log into it. I multi boot 5 different distros so that may be 3 to 4 times a week depending on how often I use that particular distro during that week.

Desktop once every 1 or 2 days because I get notifications. Laptop about twice a month because I don’t use it much. They are both EndeavourOS.
on Pop OS about once a month. On EOS I used to update every day to 2-3 days at work once a week on Fridays so I could check the forum for any problems.
I’m one of those that if there is an update I have to update which is usually about once a day.
I update everytime eos-update-notifier tells there are updates. That can be several times a day. Of course I could do it once a week or once a month, but why wait? I’m an impatient man…
I update my system once a week. Sometimes maybe twice if there is something that i need to update before hand. (Usually Nvidia )

Secondary tower and various laptops (which I rarely use) - every 4-8 weeks.

Server after verification that all is working well on laptop and checks on EOS forum and others channels.
Desktop: As often as I think about it, usually about 4 times a day.
Server: Every 2-3 days.
Depends on which system. But the general answer is “whenever I think to, if I’m not in the middle of something”. I don’t have a schedule I stick to.
I update my laptop maybe once in two months, whenever I use it, which is not very often.
The desktop I use every day, I update it maybe once or twice a day.

Main desktop - once a day.
Secondary desktop with nvidia - semi-weekly.
rpi4 on rpi os - about once every two months.
