Hello, I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but I can’t find the answer anywhere. I have two monitors, a 16:9 on top, and an 8:3 on bottom, I would like my notifications to appear on the top middle of the bottom monitor, but I can only do this when I make the bottom monitor the primary, which I want to avoid. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Hello @5GBurrito,
Notifications appear on monitor where Notification Entry in systray is enabled.
Right-click on the desktop of the bottom monitor, Enter Edit mode
Add Panel / Default Panel
Remove everything except for System Tray
Configure System tray Entries so that only Notifications are left ‘active’
Hide this secondary Panel at bottom monitor.
Disable Notifications that of the primary display
The rest is optional from here below.
I tested it with this and deadd-notification-center was launched in Autostart.
notify-send.py "And buttons" "Do you like buttons?" --hint boolean:action-icons:true --action yes:face-cool no:face-sick -t 0
ill try this out when i get home, thanks for the suggestion!
Hello, this was able to get close enough to what I wanted, thanks for the help!
