How do i deal with "dependency violations"

Sorry in case this is a stupid question but i never had this issue before and wonder what would be the best solution here. I can’t update my system due to dependency violation
Installation of fmt (11.0.2-1) violates the dependency 'libfmt.so=10-64', required by dolphin-emu-git

I guess the easy fix would be to just to rid of the dolphin-emu-git? Or maybe editing the PKGBUILD (no clue about that though) of dolphin-emu-git and install it again. Is there any “clever” solution for such cases?

You could remove the AUR package first then update and reinstall the AUR package. Not sure if this works yay -Syu dolphin-emu-git

If there isn’t a compelling reason to use the AUR version, I’d recommend replacing dolphin-emu-git with the native dolphin-emu.
