If you don’t want to share anything about yourself, that’s cool, Why not just leave the About Me section empty, rather than setting your profile to hidden?
Personally I find hiding your profile as moot.

Come to think of it, who can hide their profile? I don’t see any option for that. Maybe a hidden profile user knows
It’s in User → Preferences → Interface (Checkbox).
I always thought, that a hidden public profile meant that logged-in users could still see it. This thread brought me to find out, that this isn’t true. (Of course, I could aways see my own profile being logged in, so I didn’t come to think of it at all.)
I still need to come to terms with the fact that the whole world can now see my (no longer hidden) public profile.

It’s therapy.
If you want to see the stats, then you can easily do that, as there exists a method in hidden menu for it.
I had not enabled that, everything is default !
But it doesn’t show in other user’s profiles.
Why yours?
