Hibernation button doesn't do anything

Hello.

I recently came from Ubuntu and loving it so far. However i notices there’s Hibernation button in power menu. I have set my Swap partition to 2 gigs (i have 16 gigs of ram). I think it might be caused by the lack of memory in the swap.

Can you confirm my theory?

Can you share the output of cat /proc/cmdline

You do need as much swap as ram to hibernate
