I am new here. I have been using Manjaro before for almost 8 years, and I actually liked it a lot. But I wanted to move on to a distro with newer packages. So I upgraded my system to Endeavour. (I know.. dirty upgrade.. but it was a lot of fun and I cleaned up all the bloat.) It was in fact quite an endeavour, I did face bootloops and headaches in the process.
I even switched from grub and mkinitcpio to bootctl and dracut.
But it all worked out great!
It’s fast stable and I can’t complain, I love EndeavourOS.
Hi, @stargazer , You’ve certainly done the transition to EOS the hard way. Great to see that you’ve treated it as a learning experience. I went from Manjaro to EOS the easy way: wipe and install. Learned less that way, of course, but I enjoy EOS nonetheless.
