I’m French and 44 years old.
I’m a long linux user (love the philosophy). I started with Mandrake and OpenSuse.
I discoverd a lot of amazing distro (Slitaz for example)
I stayed a long time on Manjaro. Everything was ok but EndeavourOS intrigued me. I gave it a try and now my laptop and desktop pc are on EndeavourOS (XFCE + i3)
What I like is:
- Great community: Forum and Telegram
- Great documentation
- Great Tools included (Welcome, akm, reflector, etc…)
- Beautiful distro
- things i certainly forget
When I decided to give a try at i3, I didn’t want to format my pc and wanted to keep my XFCE environment. I made a search and found that: https://github.com/endeavouros-team/i3-EndeavourOS. Whaouh, such an amazing doc! Everything is there to help with tutorials! And it works.
So you deserve a big thank you for your work. And this will be a long journey for me with you for sure.
